General terms

The StockCard Card Agreement (this "Agreement," along with the General Terms, Fees Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable terms and conditions, collectively form a legally binding agreement between you, the holder of the StockCard Card (the "Client"), and StockCard, also legally known as SC PAYMENTS LIMITED (Business Registration Number 78350827), incorporated under the laws of Hong Kong and having its registered business address at Unit 1603, 16/F, The L. Plaza, 367-375 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.

The Client acknowledges and agrees that by application procedure, indicates its intent to sign these terms and conditions and that it shall constitute its execution of the agreement between the Client and StockCard.

Definitions

In this Agreement, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

  • "Issuer" means the licensed financial institution or electronic money institution that issues the StockCard Card under the applicable Visa or Mastercard program. The Issuer is a third party and is not StockCard.
  • "Service Provider" means the Issuer and/or any third-party partner engaged by StockCard to facilitate card issuance, payment processing, transaction settlement, or related financial services.
  • "StockCard" (also "we," "us," or "our") means SC PAYMENTS LIMITED, which operates the StockCard platform and acts as the program manager. StockCard is not a bank, electronic money institution, or card issuer. StockCard facilitates access to prepaid card products issued by its issuing partners.
  • "Card" or "StockCard Card" means the prepaid Visa or Mastercard card issued by the Issuer and distributed through the StockCard platform.

Geographic Restrictions

StockCard services are not available to, and may not be used by, individuals or entities located in, incorporated in, or residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("Hong Kong"). By accessing or using any StockCard service, the Client represents and warrants that:

  1. The Client is not a resident of, domiciled in, or physically located in Hong Kong.
  2. The Client is not accessing the StockCard platform, website, or any related services from within Hong Kong.
  3. The Client will not use StockCard services on behalf of any person or entity located in or resident of Hong Kong.

StockCard employs IP geolocation and other technical measures to detect and restrict access from Hong Kong. Access from Hong Kong IP addresses may be blocked or limited without prior notice.

During account registration and Know Your Customer ("KYC") verification, StockCard may refuse onboarding, decline applications, or restrict account functionality for any applicant identified as a Hong Kong resident based on identity documents, proof of address, or other verification data.

StockCard reserves the right to continuously monitor accounts for indicators associated with Hong Kong, including but not limited to Hong Kong IP addresses, Hong Kong-issued identification, Hong Kong billing or mailing addresses, and Hong Kong-linked payment methods. Where such indicators are identified, StockCard may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend, restrict, or terminate the affected account and forfeit any remaining balance in accordance with applicable law.

Any misrepresentation regarding the Client's location or residency constitutes a material breach of this Agreement and may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of funds.

Role of StockCard

StockCard operates as a program manager and technology platform. StockCard does not issue payment cards, hold Client funds in its own accounts, or act as a bank or electronic money institution. All cards are issued by the Issuer under the applicable Visa or Mastercard network rules. Certain restrictions, spending limits, and compliance requirements referenced in this Agreement may be imposed by the Issuer or the card network and are enforced by StockCard on their behalf.

Purpose

StockCard Card is a prepaid card issued by the Issuer that supports users to directly top-up USD amount using stocks, stocks, STCK. The Issuer reserves the right to amend the supported stockscurrencies at any time without prior notice.

It can be used for online platforms globally that support Mastercard and Visa payment (such as Amazon, Ebay, etc.), and can be linked to Apple Pay for offline payment scenarios.

Fees and charges

  • Mastercard and Visa enabled.
  • KYC required depends on the card type.
  • Application fee depends on the card type.
  • No monthly fee.
  • There is recharge fee.
  • There is a monthly limit and a recharge limit.
  • Minimum recharge amount of 10 USD. The Issuer reserves the right to change this at any time without prior notice.
  • The StockCard Card is not a bank account and the fund top-up through stocks bears no interest.

Withdrawal procedure

  • Users have the ability to withdraw any unused balances within the card account using stocks.
  • The minimum amount that can be redeemed is 10 USD.
  • The shortest time interval allowed for redemption is 48 hours.

Use of StockCard card

  1. One user can only apply for one StockCard Card at a time. Additional slots for more cards may be purchased subject to availability and in accordance with the terms and conditions governing such purchases.
  2. StockCard may setup and adjust, in its sole discretion, the maximum number of under certain StockCard Card, the Monthly Limit and Card Limit for risk control and regulatory compliance purposes from time to time. Any payment exceeding such Monthly Limit shall be rejected.
  3. All StockCard Cards remain the property of the Issuer and must be returned upon request. The Issuer or StockCard may cancel, revoke, repossess, or restrict the use of the StockCard Card at any time. StockCard may decline to authorize or reverse charges, or suspend the StockCard Card, for any reason including violation of this Agreement, suspected fraud, or creditworthiness. StockCard may also decline to authorize Transactions at merchants restricted by the Issuer or the card network. Neither StockCard nor the Issuer is responsible for losses resulting from declined or reversed Transactions.
  4. If the Issuer or StockCard determines that the Client's StockCard Card receives, or is likely to receive, a disproportionately high number of declined transactions, reversals, refunds, disputes, fees or other liability, the Client may be subject to certain handling fee upon notice via email. The Client agrees to terminate the use of the Services if it does not agree to such fees or charges.
  5. The card account itself is protected by a sophisticated bank-level security system, ensuring full protection of funds. Every time a user initiates a CVV or address information request, it undergoes secure verification. Users can also easily cancel their StockCard Card and return the balance to their own wallet. We do not recommend that users share their CVV code under any circumstances.
  6. The Client shall be responsible for securing account credentials, StockCard Card numbers and security features (including the CVV and PIN, if any). The Client shall be responsible for charges, fees and penalties resulting from any client's failure to exercise reasonable care in safeguarding StockCard cards from loss or theft, failure to promptly report loss or theft. If the Client uses or allows someone else to use the StockCard Card for any other purpose, the Client will be responsible for such use and may be required to reimburse StockCard and the Issuer for all amounts or expenses paid by such entities as a result of such use. The Client understands that it is its responsibility to monitor any suspicious or unauthorized activities on the StockCard Card. The Client understands that it is liable for the unauthorized use of the StockCard Card to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Card cancellation process

  • When a user initiates a card cancellation request, the system checks whether there is any balance in the account. If the balance is equal to or greater than 10 USD, the card cancellation refund process proceeds.
  • If there is no balance in the account, the user will receive a prompt to confirm the destruction of the StockCard Card.
  • If the balance in the account is less than 10 USD, the user will receive a prompt informing them that the balance is insufficient to be refunded, and then asked to confirm the cancellation.
  • During the cancellation refund process, the withdrawal amount will be fixed.
